What is the ‘Off The Scale’ Youth Choir?

The ‘Off The Scale’ Youth Choir is a positive and exciting singing group for children aged 6-11. The children will be able to share their talent and love for singing with other like minded individuals whilst making new friends that learn to support each other throughout their vocal journey.

The Youth Choir is the social gathering of the week creating a fun and safe ‘musical family’ where participants can forget about the world and develop their vocal skills. All songs are carefully selected to share positivity, good vibes and successful performances.

The Youth Choir will perform at various performances throughout the year.

What happens in the free taster?

The free taster is a chance for new members come along to a rehearsal, at no cost, to see how well they bond with the group. The choir leader will be monitoring the groups articulation and tuning without being intrusive or picking out any memebers. Most importantly, this is an opportunity to see if your child, will enjoy the choir (which they will!).

What type of music does the Off The Scale Youth Choir sing?

We don’t sing ‘traditional’ choir songs, we focus around popular songs that both our choir members and parents grow and have grown up with. This isn’t just limited to chart music but also good old fashioned good vibe rock, musical theatre, dance, pop, and anything else that you just love to break out a tune to! There’ll be no Mozart’s Requiem or O Magnum Mysterium for our Youth Choir. It’s all about George Ezra, Billie Eilish, Ed Sheeran and Queen!

We also take of the choirs favourite bands and artists and arrange the music around them!

My daughter has now sung in two of Mr Marshall’s [Will Marshall] Youth Choir and I am amazed at how professional they always sound and perform.

My daughter looked forward to rehearsals every single week as Mr Marshall always had a new game or exercise to keep the children engaged.

What’s even better is my daughter’s singing and confidence improved!

Gemma, Mother from previous Youth Choirs.
Joshua loved Mr Marshall’s [Will Marshall] youth choir. He used to be ready to leave the house before I was to get there!

After the singing project with the primary school boys he just wanted to keep singing.

Thank you Mr Marshall!

Sarah, Mother of Joshua
The concerts that Olivia has performed in have always been excellent. She really enjoys [enjoyed] every rehearsal and even managed to get me to play one of the singing games with her… which I enjoyed!

Will makes all the adults feel like they are involved in the choir with his regular communication and chats at the end of each session.

Simon, Father of Olivia
